From their respective fields of expertise, three experts will cross their approaches on gender inequalities at work.  How can we break with the mechanisms of gender invisibility and discrimination that women still too often encounter in the professional world? How can we achieve full gender equality in the workplace?

Olivia Gay is a photographer. Her practice mixes artistic and anthropological approaches and highlights prostitutes, cashiers and workers, women whose work is ignored, minimized and rendered invisible

Stéphanie Le Cam is a lecturer in private law, Director of the Institut des sciences sociales du travail de l'Ouest and Director of the Ligue des auteurs professionnels.

Sophie Pochic is a sociologist of work and gender, Director of research at the CNRS. She co-authored with Soline Blanchard "Quantifier l’égalité au travail - Outils politiques et enjeux scientifiques" (2021, PUR). Her research focuses on the mechanisms of production of the "glass ceiling" and on discrimination at work.

A documentary accessible for free, in partnership with the INA.

As part of this Equality Tuesday, we also invite you to discover the documentary Le travail au féminin by Richard Rein. This documentary comes from the INA archives, and is available for free access from September 20 to December 20 on Aire d'U.
