A team of young German basketball players recently visited Rennes as part of a tour in coordination with their partner team, club de la Tour d'Auvergne. While here, they also made a stop at Rennes 2 University, thanks to trainer and former Rennes 2 LEA student Lucie Berthelin-Schepens. Lucie, who now lives in Berlin, managed to organize a special treat for the young players in the form of an Serious Game session entitled "Bienvenue à l'université de Rennes" crafted by LIDILE (EA 3874) and students of the Master's program Didactique Des Langues.

For Lucie, it was "...a great opportunity to introduce my players to my university. A really rare and successful moment!” The master's students also offered the German players several introductory sessions in French. The team left feeling enriched by the time spent with French university students and more open to the international world. A perspective, undoubtedly, sharpened by their intercultural experience!
