Concert in Support of the Iranian People
Interpreted by:
SOROUSH KAMALIAN (kamantche)
SEPAS SADRENOORI (piano)
For over a month, the face of a young Iranian woman has become a symbol of the struggle for freedom.
The death of Mahsa Amini resonated around the world and triggered one of the largest feminist movements in contemporary history with the chant of "woman, life, freedom".
Women and men, together and around the world, protest, sing freedom and condemn the ongoing oppression in Iran.
Sepas Sadrenoori and Soroush Kamalian, two Iranian musicians living in France, decided to carry the voice of their compatriots, using their instruments.
Their support for the freedom of Iran will take the form of a concert, at Rennes 2 University, on October 26th at 7pm.
Your presence will support the Iranian people, as well as the Iranian community of Rennes present on this occasion.
