This exhibition examines the relationship between France and Japan through the collections of the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Rennes and the Archives de la critique d'art.

On the occasion of the celebration of 160 years of Franco-Japanese cultural relations, the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Rennes and the Archives de la critique d'art invites students from  Rennes 2 to visit their collections. Objects, prints, photographs, documents, are all evidence of the richness of the exchanges between collectors, artists and art critics from the 18th to the 20th century.
