What is an EMERGE Local Hub?
EMERGE Local Hubs are welcoming, visible spaces that bring the EMERGE European University Alliance to life on the campuses of its nine partner universities.
They provide a local point of contact for students, staff and members of the wider community who would like to learn more about EMERGE, discover opportunities offered through the Alliance and take part in its activities.
EMERGE at Rennes 2
At Rennes 2, EMERGE has a presence on both the Villejean and Mazier campuses. These spaces help connect the Rennes 2 community with the wider EMERGE network and contribute to the development of a shared European campus across the nine partner universities.
Through the EMERGE Local Hubs and related campus activities, students and staff can discover opportunities and initiatives linked to areas such as:
- European mobility and international experiences;
- education, training and collaborative projects;
- languages, cultures and multilingualism;
- research and innovation;
- sustainability and societal engagement;
- events bringing together students, staff and local communities.
The Local Hubs are also places for meeting, exchanging ideas and developing connections across the Alliance. They reflect EMERGE's ambition to create a European university that is firmly rooted in its local communities while opening up new opportunities for collaboration across Europe.
