This exhibition presents five video installations and a series of eight photographs by Chinese filmmaker Wang Bing, who puts in light the past and present living and working conditions of a whole neglected fringe of the Chinese people, from historical and anthropological points of view. 

Nearly a quarter of the twenty or so films he has made over the past twenty years have been made with the financial support of museums and art galleries, which also ensure their distribution.
