The CIREFE, the largest university center for the teaching of French as a foreign language (FLE) in Brittany, has once again obtained its FLE Quality label for the fourth consecutive time. Located in the heart of the Villejean campus, the CIREFE is an important component of Rennes 2 University. Dedicated FLE teachers welcome students from over sixty nationalities for French language and culture classes in small groups.

The French as a Foreign Language Quality Certification was created in 2007, by the Ministries of National Education, Higher Education and Research, Foreign Affairs and Culture and Communication "to identify, recognize and promote FLE centers whose linguistic offer and services present guarantees of quality".

In concrete terms, the certification process allows international students to choose from a readily available list of qualitative and reliable centers. The label is awarded on the basis of 5 criteria for which CIREFE has been given the maximum score of 3 stars: "Training, teaching", "Teachers", "Welcome, support", "Premises, security, equipment" and "Management".

For more information on the Certification process, please see the FLE Quality Label website here.
