International students, teachers, managers, trainers, and researchers involved in the IDEAL Future Teachers’ Academy came together from Spain, Ireland, Latvia, and France at the end of November to collaborate in the project’s inaugural practical workshop. The event, attended by 56 participants, had the aim of co-constructing a hybrid training module on integrating digital tools in education across Europe.
Hosted at La Maison des Sciences de l’Homme en Bretagne and Lycée Descartes in Rennes, the event also featured engaging visits to key educational sites, including the INSPE and schools in Ille-et-Vilaine, such as St. Malo, and Ploërmel.
Led by Professor Pascal Plantard of Rennes 2 University, the project unites a robust consortium of partners: Mary Immaculate College and Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board (Ireland), Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and Fundación, Siglo22 (Spain), and Latvijas Universitāte in Latvia.
The next workshop will take place in April at the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid in Spain.
