Rennes 2 will be welcoming guest professor Professor Ricard Huerta on the Denis Mukwege Research-Action Chair, which was inaugurated at our university in November 2024. He will be holding the following lectures on our Villejean campus.
Artist and Full Professor of Art Education at the University of Valencia, Ricard Huerta is a member of the University Institute of Creativity and Educational Innovation, Director of EARI Artistic Education Research Journal and Coordinator of the CREARI Group of Research in Cultural Pedagogies (GIUV2013-103). He has been invited to centers in France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Brazil, Argentina, Cuba, Uruguay, Peru, Colombia and Chile, as well as at the universities of Girona, Lleida, Complutense, Zaragoza and Santiago de Compostela. He has published books and articles in specialized journals, having coordinated numerous publications within the field of art, education, educator training, heritage and museums.

This conference aims to address the image of victims of hatred and oblivion through a reflection on the power of the written word, in particular through texts written by those who suffered repression, contrasting them with the messages of the media and social networks.
