Description succinte

The Department of Chinese Studies provides students the opportunity to perfect their mastery of written and oral Mandarin. The coursework involves the teaching of about 500 characters per year, which will make it possible for students to pass from the A2 to the B2 level in two years time (proficiency in Mandarin requires the knowledge of 1500 characters approximately). After which, students can then continue to the C1 level (which corresponds to fluency) at the end of the third year.

The curriculum also aims to provide students with good understanding of general culture, including literature and civilization,  with related vocabulary and a sinological and scientific approach.
