The Trade and Economic Relations between Europe and Asia (CREEA) Master’s Degree, co-accredited by the Universities of Rennes 2 and Le Mans, has been relocated to the Foreign Trade University (FTU) of Hanoi, one of the most prestigious universities in Vietnam. For 10 years, it has been welcoming international students in a dynamic international environment. This high-quality training provides students with a solid base in theoretical knowledge and professional skills. Students develop theoretical skills in international trade (economic, financial and human), specific knowledge on Asia and technical skills.

At the end of the course, students complete a Master 2 degree in Management and International Trade (Universities of Rennes 2 and Le Mans), Trade and Economic Relations between Europe and Asia pathway. Classes are taught in French, and the training is aimed at international students in initial and/or continuing education who have obtained the diploma, or equivalent, that gives them access to a Master 2. The CREEA Master’s Degree is supported by the Francophone University Agency (AUF) and the French Embassy in Hanoi.

Objectives

CREEA aims to train future senior managers in the international aspects of business and the specific skills required to manage international trade and investment. Specialized in this complex geographical space, graduates can go on to work in positions of responsibility in jobs related to international trade, to negotiation and to the management of international organizations. Graduates are specialists in the economic and commercial environment of the Asia zone and in trade with Europe.

Course Content

The CREEA Master’s degree is available at M2 level (delocalized in Hanoi, Vietnam). Classes are mainly taught in French by Rennes 2 lecturers. The teaching team is complemented by teachers from the Foreign Trade University and industry professionals (experts, consultants, executives, diplomats). The training combines theory and practice. It includes classes in international trade, commercial law, international strategies, international logistics, intercultural management, Europe-Asia relations, Asian economics, etc., which are organized into four skills blocks (Economic and social issues of international trade; Trade and internationalization of companies; Geo-economics; Regional integration and international trade) plus foreign language courses.
