Student Life Service (SVE)
Student life is extremely important in higher education. In this regard, Rennes 2 University is one of the most active institutions, and creating a unit dedicated to student life shows our political commitment on the matter. The SVE also helps to structure, organize, and administer student life in a clear way and in coordination with other services on all three campuses.
Our main missions:
- Participating in global welcoming missions and providing information
- Managing the Buddy System
- Overseeing the CVEC
- Assisting with and monitoring the Student Participatory Budget, in coordination with the VPEs and the communication team
- Managing and overseeing measures and actions on issues regarding health, solidarity, inclusion, and social assistance
- Participating in actions against discrimination
- Working on various student life issues (catering, accommodations, etc.), in coordination with partners (CROUS, CAF, etc.) and other university services (health, sports, culture, habits, schedules, etc.)
- Assisting in the BVE’s development and actions
- Facilitating Ereve’s steering and managing committee: organizing meetings, establishing and overseeing the rules and regulations, handling relations with the building’s users and university services (maintenance and development).
- Centralizing and advertising student job offers
- Developing actions and events for all three campuses
- Recognizing Student Life actions, in coordination with the communication team.
We are here to answer questions about student life as a whole and guide you through various issues, especially for students registered in a degree program. Exchange students should contact the International Office directly, and academic questions should be directed to the Office for Academic Studies.
