Our department offers students a broad education in the field of visual arts, emphasizing a diversity of approaches, creative experimentation, as well as general art culture. We also strive to provide students with an important capacity to adapt in a constantly changing cultural, social and professional environment.
We aim to provide a twofold expertise as foundation for a practical and theoretical production:
- practical, because that production is shown through tangible realizations and experimentation (research, in art, goes hand in hand with the practice),
- theoretical, in that the production makes sense within the artwork itself to both the viewer and the creator (theory is thus put to the test of practice).
Dedicated Spaces
As part of their studies, our students (from Year 2 and up) gain access to studios equipped for the practice of various arts: engraving, screen printing, analog photography and shooting set.
Students are also able to exhibit their work in the dedicated Espace [M] and organize showings.
