What is an EMERGE Local Hub?
An EMERGE Local Hub will be a physical embodiment of the Alliance and will exist in each of the partner universities. They will be located in the heart of each university and will be designed to be inclusive and welcoming to diverse audiences.
The creation of physical spaces will largely contribute to the ambition of creating and developing an EMERGE Campus.
For each of the objectives and work packages, the EMERGE Steering Committee has defined a set of preliminary indicators (quantitative and qualitative). The hubs will be fully integrated to this measuring progress strategy.
Objective 1: Engaging the margins
The number of community-engagement oriented events/ gatherings organised at the EMERGE Hubs in Rennes 2 will be monitored and used as an indicator to measure the engagement with the margins.
Objective 2: Reimagining our institutions
In order to measure the engagement of staff and students in Alliance activities, the number of events hosted at the EMERGE Hubs will be monitored and so will the number of students and community members visiting the EMERGE Hubs.
