Objectives

The History and Aesthetics of the Cinema pathway introduces students to research methods and objects and takes them from the basics right through to a very high level of skill in film studies research.

The Digital and Interactive Media for Cinema pathway aims to diversify the nature of the offers in terms of the convergence between digital tools, film creation and culture. It trains future practitioners in the fields of digital editing and cinema and broadcasting promotion so that they will be able to demonstrate creativity and proficiency in digital technology (https://masterpronumic.com).

In addition to training students in research-related skills, the Cinema and Broadcasting Master’s Degree covers professional fields that are closely associated with the image in general. Graduates go on to work in the fields of artistic production and cultural mediation (film production and distribution, director of cultural facilities, participation in the development and implementation of cultural policies for various institutions and collectivities).

  • In-depth knowledge of the vocational field of cultural careers.

  • In-depth knowledge of the political, economic and institutional field in the cultural field in general and cinema in particular.

  • In-depth knowledge of the contemporary artistic and cultural landscape.

  • Proficiency in written skills, in particular for preparing a dossier or writing dissertations.

  • Ability to summarize.

  • Ability to carry out bibliographical research, and proficiency in computational and communication tools.
