Currently, Rennes 2 University is involved in 6 research projects that have received support from the European Union : Artisan (developing the synergies between adaptation to climate change and biodiversity preservation), Bienvenüe (recruiting talented young researchers with a high international profile in Breton laboratories), CONVERGES (knowledge conversion for enhancing the management of European riparian ecosystems and services), ManaGlobal (studying globalized governance norms, local management, and business practices in Africa and the Arab peninsula, Sandman (studying the material culture of archaic societies lacking conventional forms of writing) and SCORE (a Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values -CERV- program)
